Sarah Youngblood of Alpharetta Praised at Exciting Windows! Annual Conference:
A Believer Award and National Advisory Board Nomination Recognize Her Success
(January 31, 2006)
Sarah Youngblood of Alpharetta attended the Exciting Windows! second annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was given a Believer Award and also received a nomination to the company's National Advisory Council (NAC).
The Believer Award recognizes her enthusiasm for the Exciting Windows! network and contributions to the company's growth. "Our members' enthusiasm about Exciting Windows! cannot be underestimated," said Steve Bursten, CEO and co-founder of Exciting Windows!. "All other elements of a successful business, from the first sale to last invoice, are a result of the business owner's excitement and passion. A Believer Award identifies a member in whom these traits are readily apparent."
In addition to the Believer Award, Youngblood was also nominated to the NAC, a council that provides oversight on national advertising funds, offers input to corporate management on policies and strategies, and operates as a sounding board to management on new policies. This year's priorities for the NAC are magazine advertising, pay-per-click advertising, search-engine optimization, and public-relation efforts in local-member markets. Steve Bursten, founder and CEO of Exciting Windows! is the corporate management executive on the council.
"It was a thrill to be nominated," said Youngblood. "Especially considering the professional talent of the other nominees. All of us have worked hard to build our businesses and are more than qualified to sit on the council."
The Exciting Windows! Annual Conference also included workshops on advertising strategies, marking efforts, and window-fashion design techniques. More information can be found on the Exciting Windows! Web site, www.excitingwindows.com.
